Your main tasks are:

  • Proactive and systematic hunting for new customers
  • Long terms customer relationship building
  • Sales and marketing strategy creation and implementation for selected market
  • Building technical and commercial offers
  • Maintaining price lists for named key accounts
  • Providing pre-sales technical assistance for channel partners and customers

Expected value of short- and long-term goals

1-6 months

  • 0,25M€ sales
  • 20 new customers per year program (sharing with sales team)

6-12 months

  • 0.5M€ sales
  • 20 new customers per year program (sharing with sales team)
  1. 12-24 months
  • 2-3M€
  • 20 new customers per year program (sharing with sales team)

Detailed target setting shall be made jointly with the management and sales team.

Adwatec CRM has large number of prospect customers’s contacts. This is the main target group for the new sales manager in the first 1-6 months (smooth start from the day one).

Preferred skills, profile and experience

  • Experience in new customer acquisition
  • Experience of 3 years or more in similar tasks
  • Education in engineering or good technical understanding
  • Experience in leading sales opportunities
  • Good contract negotiation and closing skills
  • Good verbal and written communication skills in English. Basic understanding in Finnish and skills in other languages is an advantage
  • Understanding of marine business and power electronics is seen as an advantage

We expect you to provide strong added value with new ideas and challenge our organization in a positive way. Our customers are global, so the business travel would be something you would enjoy with the support of our team of excellence.

Your team and the closest stakeholders

  • The sales and marketing team consists of 5 people in total.
  • Each member of the sales team has their own annual targets, which are regularly monitored.
  • The team gathers both in weekly meetings and daily morning briefings.

Location and other employment matters

  • While the office is currently located in Kangasala, Adwatec will soon move to new premises in Tampere. They operate on a hybrid working model, allowing for flexibility in working locations.
  • Foreign and domestic travel is expected for this position, about 60 days / year.
