Project Manager, Marine

We are seeking a motivated and self-driven Project Manager to oversee the implementation of projects in line with our delivery process. As a key member of the marine team, you will manage customer projects from order to delivery, ensuring high standards and timely completion.

In this role, you will handle demanding projects for international marine system integrators, power electronics OEMs, and shipyards. Your contributions will significantly impact the entire order supply chain.

Main Responsibilities

• Ensure project execution according to contract requirements, specifications, budget, and company processes & policies.
• Manage project activities in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring alignment with contracts.
• Ensuring world-class customer experience.
• Review technical documents to support project delivery and compliance.
• Conduct risk assessments related to projects to identify and mitigate potential issues.
• Prepare customer documentation to support project delivery and compliance.
• Identify urgent issues to ensure that projects stay within budget and schedule.
• Cooperate with Marine Classification Societies to ensure compliance.
• Provide technical sales support to assist in the acquisition of new projects.
• Offer technical customer support to address client needs and concerns.
• Develop the order-to-delivery process to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

What We Expect from You

• Sc. or M.Sc. in Engineering
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in leading industrial delivery projects.
• Fluent communication skills in both Finnish and English, German, Spanish and French are considered as an advantage.
• Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple projects effectively.
• Positive and development-oriented approach to drive continuous improvement.
• Experience with ERP systems to manage project data and processes.
• Proficiency in MS Office for documentation and communication.
• Strong negotiation and presentation skills to engage with stakeholders.
• Problem-solving and decision-making skills to address project challenges
• Willingness to travel (10-30 days annually for project needs). Additional Advantages

• Understanding of PLC systems for project integration.
