Water Cooling Unit No. 2000 produced for SEAM AS!

 

We are thrilled to announce that Adwatec has achieved a milestone – our 2000th cooling unit is complete! The celebrated device, a state-of-the-art CCE153R water cooling unit, has now been produced in our brand-new facilities in Tampere.

Today, we had the FAT with our valued customer SEAM from Norway, which will deliver the complete system integration for this vessel.

The Adwatec cooling skid, with serial no. 2000 will be installed in a Torghatten Nord cutting-edge hybrid-powered passenger-car ferry as a part of power and automation solution from SEAM. This very innovative ferry, developed and designed by The Norwegian Ship Design Company (TNSDC) will operate solely on battery power, charged from shore during loading and unloading, ensuring an environmentally friendly crossing on its route in the north of Norway.

 

This is a remarkable milestone in the collaboration between SEAM and Adwatec. SEAM is a forerunner in automation and smart maritime solutions, specializing in delivering advanced, tailor-made systems that optimize control, efficiency, and sustainability across all types of vessels. With helping vessels sail towards zero emissions, SEAM is paving the way for zero-emission maritime industry.
